AbbVie is an international company aiming to solve greatest healthcare challenges. It is a biopharmaceutical organization focused on research and development.
AbbVie addressed our company and asked to perform a number of tasks connected with the improvement of their analytical tools on the Qlik Sense platform.
The entrusted tasks are the following:
- Adding of the plans into the application – the plans should be allocated among the KAMs (Key Account Manager) and regions, the allocation among the KAMs should be proportional to the number of the regions they manage;
- Adding of the ability to calculate MAT (Most Active Trader) and YTD (Year-to-Date) for any selected month and year into the application;
- Enhancing the map – providing the ability to select a YTD or MAT figure for each month to visualize the visits to KAM territories;
- Reorganization of the model so that all the available filters would work without any failures.
The project has implemented the Evolution Index dashboard with functional logic: one molecule is represented in several drugs. We also have added diverse diagram representations to study correlation in three parameters: market growth, molecules and medicines.
While working at the project we paid special attention to data correctness, relevance and its availability for the further analysis. We are sure that our efforts have provided the AbbVie Company with more sophisticated and efficient tools enabling to make balanced decisions based on data analysis.
